PRICE?: For verbal or quick assessments there is no charge. Detailed appraisals are $75.00 per hour and include a report on the artwork as well as photographs and a CD. WHEN DO I NEED AN APPRAISAL?: Appraisals are needed on any sizable collection of art. It is always good to have a complete listing of your household items in the event of a catastrophe. When doing a home appraisal, all artwork should be included, regardless of current value. Artwork values have a wonderful habit of changing in value through the years. It doesn't take long for the total sum of artwork values to add up. Replacement values can help rebuild your life, and your quality of life, should you ever have disaster. An appraisal can also identify your limited edition prints due of their unique numbering system. In cases of theft, the edition number that is identified on the appraisal has saved several homeowners their valuable collections. Collectors may ask for appraisals so that they feel safe buying online or through garage sales. We are always willing to give you free approximate values on items.
